Our Story

Fourteen years of
fixing what matters

Apex Plumbing & Heating was founded in 2010 with a straightforward idea: do the job properly, charge a fair price, and leave the customer's home better than you found it. No upsells, no drama, no excuses.

For the first several years, every job came via word of mouth. A happy customer in Didsbury tells their friend in Chorlton. That friend tells someone in Salford. We grew steadily — never explosively, always sustainably.

Today we're a small team of Gas Safe registered engineers covering Greater Manchester. We're still doing exactly what we set out to do in 2010. We've just got a bit better at it.

Every engineer who works under the Apex name is Gas Safe registered and carries their ID card on every job. We don't cut corners on compliance. Ever.

Honest pricing

You get a price before we start. That's the price you pay. If something unexpected comes up mid-job, we stop and talk to you before we do anything that costs more.

We show up

We book an appointment, we keep it. If something changes — traffic, overrun on a previous job — we call ahead. We don't leave people waiting without warning.

We tidy up

We leave your home exactly as we found it. Dust sheets on the floors. Tools off the carpet. Old parts and packaging taken away. The job isn't finished until the space is clean.
